Duplicate content

This is every web masters nightmare for a number of reasons. We are told that google abhors duplicate content and punishes for its existence. Often there are more than one home page.

An example would be

Example.com and www .example. com

If they have the same content that is bad news for the site because the back links will direct to both urls and link juice will be lost. The best way is to kill one of the pages, sometimes this is impossible so there might be another way.

A rel=canonical direct will tell google what your preferred page is when you put this in the header from the page you want the search engines will be less confused. Google will not blindly follow the rel=canonical command but wihtng reason it will be a simple method to improve your ranking on the Serps.

The I-phone Android craze.

It has gotten out of control. Close to one sixth of the human race uses a cell phone. That’s almost all the adult population of the world. In fact it’s hard to imagine a world without cell phones!
They do almost everything imaginable except keep us healthy.
The World health organization thinks these phones could be killing us. Should be no surprise to anyone. A product that sends and receives radio waves that someone keeps next to his brain for long periods does not sound like a good thing.
Someone should create an app on the i-phone or android that measures exactly how much radiation is emitted from your cell and all other electronic devices. People should know how much radiation they are exposed to at any given minute. There should be a safe level of radiation that we should all know about. Something like how safe is direct radiation exposure and how safe is daily weekly or monthly exposure.

Probably a great business idea.
