Some thoughts about Google instant

Many have not noticed but Google instant is a dramatic change in the way Google provides search results. Now you need not wait to press enter for results as google gives them to you as you type. This is like a souped up Google suggest. It’s quite amazing if you think about it actually, the speed of the results is just amazing.
How does this affect Search tactics for internet marketers?
This will diminish the long tail search as people will find there result before getting to the end of their search query but there are other basic things the instant search may do.
1. Will weaken already weaken SEO efforts for the little guys who depend on the longtail of search for results
2. That means bigger companies with bigger budgets will get even bigger results
3. There may be less searches overall as now less wrong searches will be doe again. Google instant will give results before the search term is spelled wrong.
