Google is sponsoring the largest development event of the year. At least that’s what google says it is. It will be a place where developers will get together to discuss new applications for the different Google products. Google Android Chrome Google web toolkit Google waveand more. Seems likely that th e Android will get much attention at this event as the fight between the i-phone and google has heated up of late. Many developers will be looking for partners to help with their new applications and probably investors will be snooping around looking for lucrative apps that will take off. The present and future of applications has been for quite some time a function of developers pushing their products forward. Developers at this event will be looking for help while at the same time seeing the competition from other developers. As mentioned the Andriod and its applications will take center stage at this event. A specific area of interest for application on the android is GPS technology. By definition a mobile phone going where the user goes should be attached to a GPS system. There has been a frenzy of application development for the i-phone and Android and that trend will continue at the development event.
